• GRADING BREAKDOWN FOR MATH (6th and 7th grade)
    Your child's grade is broken down into the following 3 categories:
       Tests / Quizzes - 60%
       Homework - 20%
       Class work - 20%
     
     
     
    LATE WORK
    Late work will be accepted up to 2 days late for half credit. Anything turned in after that will not be accepted.
     
     
    ABSENT WORK
    For every day your child is absent, they have the same number of days to get their missing work done. For example, if your child is absent for 3 days, they have 3 days from when they return to turn in any work they missed.
     
     
    MAKE-UP TESTS
    NO make-up tests will be given.
     
     
    EXTRA CREDIT
    NO extra credit will be offered.
     
     
    HOMEWORK
    Homework will be given at the end of each lesson. It will be graded and corrected the following day.
     
    TESTS
    Students will be notified of tests at least a week in advance. WORK MUST BE SHOWN FOR EVERY PROBLEM unless told otherwise by me. If work is not shown, they will not receive any credit for the problem (even if they get the correct answer). Students must be able to justify how they arrived at their answer.
