Welcome to Anthony C. Traina Elementary School, Home of the Tigers!

It is an honor and privilege to serve as the Principal of such a wonderful school community. Traina staff members are committed to providing an extraordinary TK-8 experience to our students and their families.

            I was born and raised in Gilroy, CA which is where my educational journey began. I attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. I earned my Master’s Degree in Education in 2017 from National University.

            I taught one year of Social Science at Overfelt High School in San Jose before moving to Tracy in 2016, where I began teaching Social Science at West High School. I coached JV Football for two seasons and was heavily involved in the school culture and activities at West High. In 2021, I transitioned to the role of Assistant Principal at West High School, which provided me with a multitude of experiences and led me to becoming Principal at Traina this school year.

            I am very excited about the upcoming school year and look forward to working with the students, staff, families, and community. I live in the Jefferson School District with my wife and three daughters. I’m grateful to have the opportunity and trust in providing a safe environment and quality education to our students. I look forward to meeting you all in person and working together to have a successful school year.
